Course days stand under a general theme and were planned to be formed by morning and afternoon sessions.
The morning sessions were devoted to introductionary lectures delivered by experts in construction history and therefore took the form of 'master classes'. Each lecture lasted approx. 60 min., allowing enough time for discussion.
The afternoon sessions gave space for workshops. Some of those sessions were exploratory ones and allowed the students to question and develop their understanding. Others had seminar character, with groups of students giving presentations about selected case studies in the range of the day's main theme. Several days were closed by a keynote lecture dealing with a specific problem from the practical and/or theoretical work of one of the teachers or PhD students.
