Luca Guardigli

Born in 1965, graduated in 1991 in Civil Engineering from the University of Bologna; earned his Ph.D. degree from University of Bologna in 1996 with a thesis on information systems for the analysis of historic constructions. He has obtained a Master in Design Studies in 1994 from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University, USA. After his post-doc studies, in 1998 he was appointed tenured assistant professor, first at the University of Parma, then, from 2004, at the University of Bologna. He teaches courses in technology of architecture. His themes of research are collaborative design and construction integrated quality, eco-sustainability and LCA in construction, historic buildings preservation and construction history.
