This late 15th century church is a late gothic "hall church" of considerable dimensions. Its roof is a typical example of a "stehender Stuhl" frame. We will draw a sketch of the overall structure and consider the load paths, particularly in the most relevant load case "wind". We will study the erection process. (This site may be replaced by the parish church of Ingolstadt, depending on accessibility. Both churches and roofs are similar in date and structure).
